STEVE LAWLER: Unfortunately not a lot, I'm sorry to say...

1. Let's start with your music production. We all know for your releases(remixes) on big labels but where do you get your inspiration for your tracks from? .... and which of your unreleased tracks (remixes) can we look forward to?

I just go in the studio with a rough idea of what i want to do, sometimes it follows that path but sometimes you create something completely different.. I am inspired by my vices, by my experiences more than anything.. this always come through when im in the studio..

You can look forward to my remix of Radio Slave's Koma Koma coming out in august on rekids.. ;)

2. What message are you going to send out to the crowd of the dance arena at exit?

Lets all get lost in the music and share our passion together and go crazy to some sexy house grooves and funky techno..

3.
This interview is for dvojka.com from Slovenia. We have rumors here that Slovenia is becoming a mecca for djs becouse we have a lot of events with big names. Is this thrue, did you heard for this rumors in U.K. and what can you tell us about electronic music scene in Slovenia?

Unfortunately not a lot, I'm sorry to say.. I have played Exit a few times and know what to expect.. im excited to come back this year :)

4.What is the best thing that happened to you in 2009 and who are you excited about currently from your record label?

My Girlfriend said yes when i asked her to marry me :)

Re the label, im really excited about Leon, Dragosh, David Pher, Darius Syrossian & Nyra, and Hugo.. got some great music coming from these guys.. they are very talented

5.What kind of DJ technology do you use for your dj sets? Are you a digital junkie too and use Native Instruments or you prefer cds and vinyls?

For now i use Serato...

6. What do you think about new application that Richie Hawtin is using. The new native instruments and Twitter application. Is this going to make a new revolution like it was told?

I hope so, I have a lot of respect for Richie as his way of moving things forward often many people benefit from..

7. You probably have been djing all over the globe but where did you feel most comfortable?

Places that are very close to me are Toronto, Montreal - Canada, Buenos Aires - Argentina, Ibiza - Spain, Bucherest, Cluj and Costansa - Romania, Budapest - Hungry, Tokyo - Japan

8.Can you tell us a little bit more about your next projects?

I'm going back in the studio for a week in July working on a remix for Slam, and working through my touring summer schedule.. just finished a 14 gig north america tour... and constantly working on VIVa MUSiC developing the artists and the brand..

9. What do you like more producing or djing?

They are both entirely different although sharing similar entity's.. i would say if i had to choose it would be performing, as when you play your own music out live that you have made, thats when you truly see the rewards of you hard work

Dear readers I was invited to presentation of newcomers of Facolta

A special thanks goes to my best friend Maja Škarje
for letting us having a base at her Hair style saloon and
for doing such a great haircuts on models. I think this
would not be possible to do without her. I would like
to expose our photographer Emil Jalovec for his
ideas and his professional approach to work and his
jokes during the shooting so everybody felt relaxed.
